: sail pillars and door vents are terrible locations if you care about path length differences (imaging). : -Alt high frequencies are directional. they don't travel around hard objects very well. last time I drive my car, I believe my legs were in the foot wells. if you place a tweeter anywhere NEAR the midbass, you will fire into your leg, under your leg but at your butt, or under your leg towards the floor. you cannot tell me that a tweeter in the LOWER door panel will sound better then a tweeter that can promote audio. You can always attentuate a tweeter with crossover. I can't help you with eqqual length staging. Probably because it's the holy grail. And in cars, it CANNOT exist if you sit to one side.
